During its regular meeting on June 21, 2012, the Executive Council unanimously approved Board Resolution No. 2012-11, defining unethical recruitment activities commonly known as “cataract sweeping” and included it in the Implementing Rules and Guidelines (IRG) of the PAO Code of Ethics. The definition was based on the recommendation submitted by the Committee of Ethics and Practice Management.
